Awesome pizzas and our first 'Wall of Famer'
Yesterday was our very first day of delivering our pizza kits and seeing how many kids got involved in having fun making their pizzas gave me a lot to smile about last night.
Truly well done to everyone. I can assure you that the first pizza I ever stretched looked nothing like any of the best pizzas sent in yesterday. We had some great creations, and a few slightly wonky shapes but we'll work on those. In fact, after lock-down I'll hold some fun sessions where we'll get everyone stretching out round pizzas like a pro.
Stiff competition between the top 3
Choosing between the top 3 wasn't easy. The anchovy pizza below is pretty much perfect and I'd be pretty happy with receiving that in any restaurant. The large buffalo margherita below it is also hard to fault, especially at that size as they managed to get the base really thin without tearing it, and the toppings are nicely balanced.
The winners though, are the 2 young gents below. Perfect hand position in the stretching technique, let alone by kids this young, and close to perfect shaping and baking in the final pizza. Big high five for the outfits too, great dedication boys, you're our very first Wall of Fame inductees and you've won a free pizza kit.
If pure joy was the deciding factor, these two young funsters would've walked the top spot, well done boys, the pizza looks pretty darn good too.
While the nature of our Wall of Fame dictates I have to choose a winner every week, it's really just about having fun with the family. Here are a few more cracking efforts, well done everyone.
